Mrs. Anna M. Conrad, 71, of Webb City, Missouri departed this life suddenly on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at Freeman Hospital West in Joplin, Missouri.
Anna entered this life on October 18, 1939 in Stark City, Missouri to the late Henry W. and Elnora (Schach) Raulston. Her formative years were spent in Granby, Missouri. On July 27, 1955 she was united in marriage to Bill Green and to this union two sons and three daughters were born. She has resided in Webb City, Missouri for the last forty-eight years. Throughout her life she was a hardworking and devoted homemaker to her husband and family. Bill passed away in November of 1989 and later in September of 1991 she married Harvey Joe Conrad. She had a great love for her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Anna was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Bill Green; and one sister, Norma Shaw.
Anna is survived by her husband, Harvey Conrad of the home; three sons, Ricky Green of Webb City, Missouri, Billy Green of Joplin, Missouri and Toby Conrad of Westville, Kansas; four daughters, Gail Schmitt of Joplin, Missouri, Diana Atkinson of Galena, Kansas , Norma Landers of Webb City, Missouri and Cecelia Conrad of Baxter Springs, Kansas; twelve grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; two brothers, Oren Raulston and Leroy Raulston both of Neosho, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Conrad are 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 27, 2011 in the chapel of Thornhill-Dillon Mortuary in Joplin, Missouri with Pastor Bob Dart officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Webb City, Missouri. Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are Brent Green, Hayden Green, Kevin Green, Brandon Hixon, Joe Don Parish and Jason Green. Payton New and Geordan Green will be serving as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. in the mortuary chapel.
