She was born in Monroe County, KY on May 22, 1928 to the late Fred R. Ray and Jennie Elizabeth Gentry Ray. She was a retired nurse and the widow of Esmond "Buddy" Bartley who died September 10, 2004.
She is survived by two nephews: J. W. Page and Jerry Page both of Tompkinsville, two nieces: Patsy Gillenwater of Tompkinsville and Beverly Litzinger of Fayetteville. AK.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a brother: Wybile Ray, and three sisters: Gwendolyn Page, Earlene Pickerell and Mildred Bryant.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, July 23 at 1 PM at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with burial to follow in the Monroe County Memorial Lawn.
