Billie married Thomas Boone "Charlie" Alvey, Jr on January 23, 1954 in Marion Co, KY.
Charlie and his wife Billie have reserved burial locations in St Catherine Catholic cemetery in New Haven, KY for future use. They were very much alive as of the date of this memorial. But until such time as there burial location are used, I will maintain them in a "no cemetery" category
∼Billie Ray Alvey, 85, of New Haven, returned to the Lord on Monday, January 28, 2019 at her home. Billie was a retired employee of Citizens Fidelity Bank and PNC Bank, and a volunteer for the Kentucky Railroad Museum for many years. She was a faithful member of St. Catherine Catholic Church, where she served in the choir for many years, and member of Daughters of the American Revolution. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Cooper and Dorothy Medley Ray; and siblings, Larry and Dollie Ray. Billie is survived by her husband of 65 years, two children, three sisters, along with three grandchildren, and one beloved great granddaughter . Funeral mass will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Catherine Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Catherine Cemetery. Friends may visit from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home, New Haven.
