ANNVILLE - Betty J. Raynes Allen, 66, of 231 W. Water St. died Tuesday at home. She retired as a supervisor from Reese Candy Co., Hershey; was a former supervisor for Hershey Chocolate Co.; and a former member of Palmyra Brethren in Christ Church. She was the widow of Reginald S. Allen Sr. Surviving are a daughter, Donna Jean A. White of Annville; a stepson, Reginald S. Jr. of Charlotte, N.C.; a brother, Jacob Raynes of Rutherford; four sisters, Jo Ann Ginder of Annville, Eleanor Rhoads of Lebanon, Margaret Bossler of Klingerstown and Geraldine Kinsey of Oberlin; a granddaughter; three step-grandchildren; and a step-great-granddaughter. Private services will be held Thursday in Rothermel Funeral Home, Palmyra. Burial will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery, North Londonderry Twp.
