Mary Nell Risinger Reed, 82, of Bellmead, Texas, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2008 at her residence with her two daughters by her bedside as she made her final walk to join her loved ones who had gone before her.
Mary was born July 30, 1925 in Banquete, Texas and had lived in Bellmead, Texas the last years of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, George A. Reed, Sr.; a son, George A. Reed, Jr.; her parents and two brothers.
She is survived by a son, Charles F. Reed and wife Nancy of Colorado Springs, Colorado; two daughters, Amy P. Reed of Bellmead, Texas and Margaret R. Barton of Waco, Texas; two brothers, Benjamin Baker Risinger and wife Lila Mae of Odessa, Florida and Neal Bode McCormick and wife Jeanne of Georgetown, Texas; two sisters, Laneal Brittain and husband Billy of Corpus Christi, Texas and Cloey Newburn and husband Guy of Bullard, Texas. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held Saturday, February 2, 2008 at the Banquete Cemetery.
