Funeral services for Mrs. Arthur (Dorothy Ellen) Albaugh, 62, were held at First Methodist Church, Nov. 26, 1982 with Dr. Jerrold Swinton officiating. Burial was in Red Oak Cemetery. Pallbearers were Arthur & Steven Willard, Charles Martin, Lyle Fitch, Jerry Miller & Rex Reeve. Nancy Hipple was in charge of flowers. Rebekah service were held. Mrs. Albaugh died at University Hospital, Iowa City, Nov. 23, 1982.
The daughter of Dale Ransom & Florence Edith Litman Reeve she was born in Tipton June 7, 1920. She attended the Tipton schools. She was married to Arthur Vernon Albaugh at Muscatine, Oct. 9, 1939. A lifetime resident she was a member of the First Methodist Church, The United Methodist Women, The American Legion Auxiliary and the Rebekah Lodge. She is survived by her husband, 4 daughters, Mrs. Dale (Mary Jo) Meyer, Marion, Mrs. Reyes (Connie) Ruiz, Cedar Hills, TX.; Mrs. Dean (Linda) Martin, Bennett; Mrs. LaMoyne (Sally) Burmeister, Louden, a son, Dennis Arthur, Placentia, CA.; 12 grandchildren & 2 great-grandchildren. Also 4 sisters, Majorie Barnes & Beverly Fitch, Tipton; Marilyn Traurey, Marysville, Penn.; & Eldora Miller, Tempe, AZ; 2 brothers, Robert & Jack Reeve, Tipton, a step-sister, Millie Elbert Whitemore & a step brother, Dale Waddell living in PA. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers and her step-father.
