when he retired. He was judge of Probate for 40 years until he retired five years ago. He
represented the town in 1887 and 1929 in the Legislature. He leaves five sons, Arthur J. of
Burlington, Henry F. of Torrington, Edward H. of Kensington, Robert D. of Laurelton, L.I. and
William L. of Unionville; three daughters, Sister Mary Annina of the Assumption Convent,
Ansonia, Mrs. Kenneth Cobb of Windsor Locks, and Miss Grace E. of Burlington. Burial in
Center Cemetery, Burlington, CT. (Mr. Arthur Reeve succeeds his father in office in the office of
Town Clerk until the next election.)
