Mrs. Honora Gorman, widow of Michael Gorman, whose serious illness was noted a few days ago, died Tuesday night at the home of her daughter Mrs. C R Schramm 417 Wilson Street. the funeral will take place this morning from the Church of the Annunciation. The pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Mrs. Gorman came to this country from Ireland in 1842. She was married in Elmira and settled in Newberry in 1869. She was the mother of 12 children, 28 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Her children are Mrs. C Schramm, Mrs. O'Dea, Mrs. T Sullivan, Dennis Gorman of this city, Mrs. J D McDermott and Miss Julia Gorman of Philadelphia, Hana Gorman of San Francisco, John Gorman of Coalport, & M Gorman of Cathland Washington.
