Age 84, a lifelong resident of Erie, daughter of the late A. Alling and Helen Pole Reeves. She graduated from Mercyhurst Prep and attended Arlington Hall Prep School and College in Arlington, Va. She was a member of the Episcopal Cathedral of St. Paul. She received a state award for her many volunteer hours working in the physical therapy department at the Erie Crippled Children's Society, now known as the Achievement Center.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Parks Grunden, in 1989; and a daughter, JoAnne Grunden Felbinger in 1990.
Survivors include a daughter, Judy Grunden Davis (Morton Davis), Sarasota, Fla.; a son, John Parks Grunden, Jr., (Penny Vogt Grunden), Little Torch Key, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
