Elsie M. Baney July 4, 1922 - August 22, 2011 Elsie M. Baney, 89, of Fleming, died Monday, August 22, 2011, in Bellefonte. She was born on July 4, 1922, in Dorset, England,daughter of the late Albert and Ada Mary Burt Reeves. She married Vincent R. Baney, June 7, 1946. He preceded her in death July 21, 1989. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Fleming Free Methodist Church. Elsie enjoyed reading, volunteering at Mount Nittany Medical Center in the Library for 15 years. She was a member of Sight Loss Support Group. She is survived by three daughters, Jean Baney, of Unionville, Susan Earnest (Len), of Lewistown, Nancy Carolus (Charles), of Unionville; one son, Vince Baney (Carol), of Unionville; eight grandchildren, Penny (John) Susan, of Bellefonte, J.R. Baney, of Howard, Cody Baney, of Howard, Daryl (Stephanie) Earnest, Michelle (Phillip) Estep, Mark R. (Jess) Baney, Tanya J. (Tim) Parkes, and Chuck (Carolyn) Carolus III; ten great grandchildren, Shawna Bitner, Chelsea Susan, Kaitlin Susan, Briana Estep, Aaron Carolus, Montana Parkes, Alexa Baney, Makena Baney, Courtney Carolus and Derek Mecklinberg. Elsie is also survived by a special niece, Karen Baney Burns. She is also survived by her three dogs, Teddy, Teka and Pudge. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son, Robert Baney May 29, 2007. Services will be held at Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, Milesburg, Pa., Thursday, August 25, 2011, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Eddie Irvin officiating. Friends will be received Thursday, August 25, 2011, from 9:30-11 a.m. Burial will be in Advent Cemetery, Boggs Twp., Centre Co., Pa. Memorial contributions may be made to Fleming Free Methodist Church, P.O. Box, 140, Fleming, Pa. 16835. Arrangements are under the direction of Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, Milesburg, Pa.
