David Joseph “Joe” Reilly of Quincy, passed away on Monday, May 4, 2015 at age 87. Born in Quincy where he was raised and educated, he lived there nearly all his life. Joe worked as a heavy equipment operator for Duane Construction and was Korean War Veteran, earning two Bronze Stars. The beloved husband for the late Ruth M. (Kusser) Reilly, Joe was the loving father of Lynn Menconi and her husband Michael of Hingham and the late Susan Reilly of NJ; dear grandfather of Michael Menconi, Jr. and Meredith Menconi, both of Hingham; brother of Marguerite Demone of FL and the late John Reilly and is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, May 10 from 5:00 to 8:00PM at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home 74 Elm St. Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. On Monday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 9:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at St. John the Baptist Church 44 School St. Quincy. Burial with Military Honors is at Mt. Wollaston Cemetery.
