He was born in Carroll County March 23, 1905, to Albert and Clara Cree Rice. He was married Dec. 6, 1924, in Delphi to Edna I. Sanders, who died June 25, 1989.
A farmer, Rice was a member of Burrows Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are two sons, Albert P., Rt. 1, Frankfort, and Carroll E., Camden; a daughter, Lois B. Homburg, Rt. 2, Logansport; two sisters, Sarah Burge, Camden, and Jessie Coy, Logansport; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren;
and one great-great-grandchild. Two sons, one daughter and two brothers preceded him in death.
Services were held Saturday in Cree Funeral Home with the Rev.
Joan Starry officiating. Burial was in Camden Cemetery.
