Lakeville, IN - -Linda S. Curtis, 61, residing on Kenilworth Road, Lakeville, passed away at 1:50 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2003, at the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend. Mrs. Curtis was born on Feb. 4, 1941, in LaPorte, Ind. And has been a lifelong area resident. On Sept. 21, 1962 in Lakeville, she married G. James "Jim" Curtis who survives. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; Marion W. Richard who passed away in 1982, and Maggie Amanda (Kaser) Richard who passed away in 1993. A sister, Marjorie Donahue, also proceeded in death on June 25, 2002.
Linda is survived by her husband of 40 years, Jim; two sons, Scott James (Lisa) Curtis of Mishawaka and James "Brady" (Kerri) Curtis of South Bend; two grandchildren, Jessica and Nathan Curtis; and three sisters, Doris (Delbert) Burger of Laporte, Iris Grable of Warsaw and Bonnie Roberts of South Bend.
Linda was employed with Allied Screw Products, Ind., Mishawaka. She was a department supervisor manufacturing parts for military aircraft. Linda was also a member of the County Line Brethren Church, Lakeville.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 3, at the County Line Brethren Church, Lakeville. Rev. Larry Hanson, pastor will officiate. Burial will be held at a later date in Fair Cemetery, North Liberty. Friends may visit with the family from 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 2, at the Palmer Funeral Home, 314 S. Michigan Street, Lakeville, and one hour prior to services at the church on Monday.
