Richard A. Dick Rideout of Randolph, formerly of Essex, died March 7, 2011, after a brave and courageous four-year battle with cancer, at the age of 61. Cherished husband of Catherine M. (Lydon) Rideout, he was the dear son of Marjorie Rideout of Ipswich and the late David Rideout; devoted brother of David Rideout of Maryland; brother-in-law and brother-of-the-heart to Eileen Lydon of Randolph and Francis and Deborah Lydon of Plymouth; loving Godfather to Ashley Lamar of Stoughton; uncle of Christine Richardson and Catherine Andino of Maryland; great-uncle of Amber and Sergio Andino of Maryland. Also survived by dear aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a funeral service Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 North Main St. (Rte. 28), Randolph. Visiting hours Saturday morning from 9-11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private. Richard will be greatly missed by all those who were blessed to have known him. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
