Josephine M. "Jo" Beighley, age 80 of Canton, passed away Sunday morning surrounded by her loving family at Mercy Medical Center following an extended illness. Born in Canton, OH, on March 14, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Leo and Mildred Ida (Blecker) Reinhart.
A member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Jo was a loving mother, grandmother, and wife. She was a 1942 graduate of Mount Marie High School and a 1950 graduate of Mercy School of Nursing, Jo retired as a registered nursing and devoted her life to helping others.
Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, William F. Beighley, sisters, Betty and Rosie, and brother, Richard.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, a brother-in-law, five sons and daughters-in-law. There are 13 grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and special friends also surviving.
