Roger enjoyed spending time with his children and a group of long-time friends, who spent many good times traveling and cooking. He was an avid swimmer and diver, and was a member of the Muskogee Central High School swim team. Roger was a painstaking craftsman, and enjoyed working with his hands, building and restoring cabinetry and antiques. He also had beloved pets, which were with him until his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Laura Ellen (Logan) Ritchie.
Roger is survived by his two daughters and son, Rachael Gilliam and husband Will; Lauren Ritchie and Aaron Ritchie; grandchildren, Jack and Olivia Gilliam; all of Muskogee, OK; and two sisters, Judith Willis, of Mena, AR, and Linda Boyd of Muskogee, nephews, Jason Brown, Mark Romine, and Nick Romine and a host of extended family and close friends. Funeral services are pending. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery
