Mary was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Louis W. Berger.
She is survived by one son, Robert (Alice) Berger of Fort Wayne, IN, one daughter Nancy (James) Roth of Houston, MO, 2 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, a sister Carol (Jonathan) Moyer, Pompano Beach, FL and 4 nephews.
Mary grew up in Elkhart, IN and graduated from Elkhart High School in 1937. She and Louis W. Berger of Elkhart were married on August 27, 1939 and celebrated their 73rd wedding anniversary 4 days before his death August 31, 2012.
She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, counted cross-stitch and keeping up with some of the news on her computer. She had resided at Licking Residential Care and always had a smile and greeting for the staff and other residents.
She will be missed, but she is back by Louie's side where she wanted to be.
