Bolin, Husie Robins, 86
Services were held Thursday, April 18, at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Tell City for Mrs. James A. (Husie) Bolin, 86, who died at 9:35 pm Monday April 15 at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
Born September 19, 1887 in Breckinridge County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Melissa Pate Robbins.
She was the widow of the late James A. Bolin who died in 1965. They lived on RR 1 Cannelton until his passing, then she resided with her daughter Mrs. Delmar Alvey in Tell City.
A son, the late Martin Bolin of Peru, Indiana preceded her in death last December.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs Katie Bartolet of Trafalgar, Indiana, Mrs Mary Jane Hall of Indianapolis and Mrs Delmar Alvey of Tell City; three step-daughters, Mrs. Violet Bolin of Logansport, Mrs. Paul (Vivian) Salkill of Peru, Indiana, and Mrs. Jess (Daisy) Roberts of Irwin, Tennessee; a step-son, Arnold Bolin of Logansport; 13 grandchildren, 33 step-grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
The body was at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home in Tell City. Burial was in New Cliff Cemetery in Cannelton.
Out of town relatives attending the funeral rites of Mrs. Hue Bolin were:
Mr. and Mrs. Jess Roberts and son Keith Dooley and daughter Susan Dooley of Irwin, Tennessee, Mr. and Mrs Paul Salkill of Peru and daughters Mrs Nina Renschler and Mrs Carolyn Fundyk, Mrs. Violet Bolin of Logansport and Mrs. Mable Chanley, Joe and Lisa of Burnettsville, Indiana and Wesley Bolin of Peru, were out of towners attending the funeral of thier step-mother and step grandmother, Mrs. James A. (Husie) Bolin.
