Carolyn "Susie" (Robbins) Bhatti, age 51, of Indianapolis, passed on January 5, 2015.

Born on October 1, 1963 in Lafayette, she was the daughter of the late Marvin Robbins and Betty (Simison) Capper. She graduated from Benton Central High School.

She married Waheed Bhatti on November 29, 2002 in Dallas, TX and he survives. She was a loving wife, mother and homemaker.

Carolyn was a very kind and gentle soul; she had a loving and generous heart, and was always giving to others. She was an avid Colts fan. She loved the outdoors, thunderstorms, the country, trees, mushroom hunting and fishing, tubing, canoeing, animals, music and laughing. She was very good at drawing, had a green thumb and an amazing cook. Susie was compassionate, kind, loving, warmhearted, humble, charismatic and strong and had eyes that could see into your soul.

She is living on in the hearts of her husband and children: Jami Cooper (husb: Mark) of Lafayette, Nicholas Burroughs of Indianapolis, Rusty Long of Lafayette, her siblings: Rob Robbins (wife: Annette) and Robin Robbins both of Lafayette.

Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Hippensteel Funeral Home. Service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at the funeral home. Celebrant Carla Ellis officiating. Interment at Union Cemetery. Hippensteel Funeral Home entrusted with care.
