Audrey Robbins Bush passed away Thursday, March 24, 2011, at Rex Hospital in Rolesville, N.C. She was 71.
She was born in Mount Holly, the daughter of the late Vincent Robbins and Roberta Mae Brown Robbins.
She was a member of Open Road Community Church in Franklinton, N.C.
Audrey was the former owner of a hair salon in Mount Holly and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
Mrs. Bush is survived by her children, Robin Rosen of Holcomb, N.J., Penny Boughton and her husband, Al, of Medford, and Wade Shaw and his wife, Sharon, of Wake Forest; brothers, Everett Robbins and his wife, Janet, and Wayne Robbins and his wife, Millie, all of New Jersey; sister, Alice Schall of New Jersey; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman 'Bucky' Bush, in 2002.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mount Holly. Inurnment will take place in the Pemberton Baptist Cemetery.
