Lucinda Roberts Baker, 82, of Avenutra, Fla., died Tuesday, April 28, 2009. The service will be at 11 a.m. EDT Friday, May 8, at St. Mary Primitive Baptist Church on Call Street, with burial at Southside Cemetery. Strong & Jones Funeral Home (850-224-2139) is handling arrangements. She leaves to cherish her memory are her children, Gloria Baker Ezell, Jennifer Baker Williams (John), Brenda Baker Lipford (Ted), Donny Baker (Pier), David Baker and Darrell Baker of Miami, Fla., Danley Baker (Gloria) of Tampa, Fla., Betty Baker Robinson of Orlando, Fla.; sisters and brothers, Martha Jones of Jacksonville, Fla., Bennie M. Higgs and Paul Roberts Jr. (Betty) of Tallahassee, Raymond Roberts (JoAnn) of Miami, Fla., Harry Roberts (Mary) of Forest Park, Ga., Matthew Roberts of Atlanta, Ga., Lillie D. Smith of Decatur, Ga.; and a special niece, Rosell R. Caswell (Melvin) of Tallahassee. She also leaves behind 28 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
