MRS. EVAN ALLEN
Mrs. Lavinia Allen, widow of Evan Allen, passed away yesterday morning, in her 95th year, at her home, 12 East Barnard Street, where she resided with her daughter Elma, widow of Pierce H. McCermond.
Despite her advanced age, she was active until her illness a few day ago. Born in Delaware County, daughter of the late Alfred C. and Elizabeth McBride Roberts, she had resided in this borough for sometime, and was a member of the Methodist church. She was a kind neighbor and of pleasant disposition. Mrs. McDermond is her only surviving relative.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral without further notice from the Hicks Funeral Home, 229 S. High St., West Chester, on Saturday, April 17, at 2 p.m. Interment in Greenmount Cemetery. Friends may call this Friday evening.
