January 1896: Consigned to the Tomb. The last rites over the body of the late Mrs. E.A. Ashmead, of Philadelphia, were conducted at 2:00 o'clock this afternoon, at the home of her mother, Mrs. Mary Roberts, 140 South Sixth Street, Lebanon. Rev. A.A. Arthur, pastor of Centenary Methodist Church, officiated. Burial was maded in the Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. Undertaker D.A. Frantz, was in charge. [Lebanon Daily News]
