Ernest O. Robertson, a resident of Strathmore, went to be with the Lord on August 10, 2011, at the age of 91.
He was born March 14, 1920, in Carson, New Mexico, to Otto and Bessie Robertson who first came to the Porterville area in 1929.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Bessie Robertson; and three brothers, Lewis, Alfred and James Robertson.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years; daughter; son; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Edna Byars of Porterville, and Beulah Offill of Clovis; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held at Myers Chapel on Thursday, August 18, from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. A Service will be held on Friday at 10:00 A.M. August 19th at Myers Chapel. Interment will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
