Evelyn Belle (Rosenberry) Batt of Cadillac died Friday 12 Sep 2003 at the age of 79 y 2 m 4 d at Lakeview Lutheran Manor Nursing Home in Cadillac. Survivors included special friend Jerry Gardner; 4 daughters, Paula Richards of Holt, Yvonne & Dan Nelson of Cadillac, Bonnie Kay Batt of Linwood and Bobbie & Tony Neil of Manton; 1 son, Eldred Batt II of Lansing; 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 1 sister, Eva Holman of Cadillac. She was preceded in death by her parents, William & Ethel; husband, Eldred M Batt 21 May 1963; 1 infant daughter; and 1 brother. Visitation was 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm Monday 15 Sep 2003 at the Peterson Funeral Home in Cadillac. Funeral services were 1 pm Tuesday 16 Sep 2003 at Peterson Funeral Home with Rev Lloyd Jewett officiating. Burial was in Boon Westside Cemetery in Boon.
