PASSES AWAY--BURIED IN GLADWIN

Jane, wife of Robert Bailey, died Saturday, July 31, at their home at Coleman of paralysis, at the age of 71 years.

Mrs. Bailey was born in Ireland and came to Canada with her parents when 11 years of age. She was married to Robert Bailey in November, 1880 at Mt. Forest, Ont. To the union four children were born, three of whom are living: Mrs. Vadakin of Sault Ste Marie, Mrs. Levi Powley of Gladwin township and John Bailey of Pontiac.

The body was brought to Gladwin township for burial. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the home of her brother, Ed Rose at Wagarville, and burial took place in the Ridge cemetery. Rev. Frank Knapper of Coleman conducted the funeral.

Mrs. Bailey was a member of the Mennonite chuch at Geneva. She was held in high esteem by a large circle of friends. Gladwin County Record dated 8-5/1915
