Feb. 21, 1928 - Aug. 14, 2015 Mrs. Louise Lee of Theodore, AL died on August 14, 2105 at Providence Hospital. She was born February 1, 1928 in Caldonia, MS. Her family later moved to Mobile where Louise graduated from Murphy High School. She married Edwin H. Lee in 1946 and they moved to the Fowl River Community in the early 1950's. Louise was employed for many years by Sears Retail Credit and Equifax Corp. Louise and Ed were active members of the Etruscans Mystic Society, serving one year as King and Queen. She enjoyed taking care of her yard and its azaleas and camellias. She caught crabs in the river, then enjoyed sharing her baked crab casserole with her friends. Louise was an avid Alabama Football Fan, and enjoyed embroidering table cloths and other items as gifts. She was a charter member of Springhill Baptist Church, and later the New Hope UMC, serving as church treasurer for many years as well as assisting in the kitchen for many church activities. In addition she was active in the Fowl River Women's Club, and the Fowl River Civic Association. Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Juddie McDaniel Rose and Eugene Rose, her brother Edward Rose, her sisters Evelyn Rose Barnard and Marie Rose All, and her husband Edwin H. Lee. She is survived by several nieces and nephews, Ed Rose (Theresa), John Rose (Ginger), Phil Rose (Marilyn), June R. Woodward, Carolyn Barnard Harrison (James) and Susan All. Funeral services will be held from the Chapel of Pine Crest Funeral Home on Thursday August 20, 2015 at 2:00PM. Visitation for family and friends will be from 12:30 until 2:00PM with Dr. Jesse Shackleford officiating. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
