Apoplexy Cause of the Death of Mrs. C. H. Barhite
The death of Mrs. Helen R. Barhite, 72, widow of Charles H. Barhite, of Conewango Valley, occurred at Dewittville Wednesday March 21. Mrs. Barhite's death was caused by apoplexy following a three years' illness.
Helen R., born at New Albion November 4, 1872, was daughter of Welcome and Julia Ross. She had been a resident of Conewango Valley for many years.
Surviving members of her family are two daughters, Mrs. Harold Rhoades, Conewango Valley, Mrs. Janice Field, Chicago, Ill.; one son, Welcome Barhite, Sinclairville. There is also one sister, Mrs. Olive Parker, Binghamton.
The funeral will be held today (Friday) from the Hoitink Funeral Home in Main Street. Interment will be in Ellington cemetery.
