June 15, 1921-Nov. 14, 2011 Services for Wilma K. Blankenbaker, 90, Portland, are Thursday at 11 a.m. at Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland with Pastor Kris McPherson officiating. She died Monday at Persimmon Ridge in Portland. Born in Greene Township in Jay County to George and Dessie (Franks) Rouch, she graduated from Poling High School in 1938. She was preceded in death on May 6, 2011, by her husband Charles Harland Blankenbaker whom she married on Oct. 21, 1939. She was a secretary at Judge Haynes Elementary School from 1961 until 1973 and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and Disabled American Veterans. Surviving is a son, Joe Blankenbaker, Statesboro, Ga.; a daughter, Bonnie Coffel, Portland; and three grandchildren. Visitation is Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
