Blanche Pauline Bixler, of Hanover, entered into eternal slumber August 6, 2005.
Born January 18, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Curtis E. Rummel and Grace (Groscot) Rummel Lehigh.
Mrs. Bixler was a graduate of New Oxford High School, where she played french horn in the marching band. She was a member of the Homewood Craftmakers, Hanover, and the Homewood Chapel.
She is survived by four daughters, Johnnetta L. Miller of Hanover, Mary Jane Wickline of Hampstead, Darlene Becker of East Berlin and Debra Utz of Hanover; a son, Jack Bixler of Hanover; two sisters, Janet Frock of Hanover and Ruth Groft of New Oxford; a brother, Fred Rummel of Hanover; 16 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Maxine Wagaman and Dolly Bixler, and three brothers, Ralph, Orville and Lloyd Rummel.
