Harry W. "Buck" Rummel of Oconomowoc died at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2005, at age 84.

Harry was born July 7, 1921, in Haywarden, Iowa, the son of Harry Wayne Rummel and Kathleen (nee McManaman).

He married Karen Datka on June 4, 1994, at St. Jerome Catholic Church.

Harry was an attorney for Rummel and Mazza Attorneys at Law of Oconomowoc. He was also a member of Lac LaBelle Golf Club and the Oconomowoc Kiwanis Club and a past member of Club 40, the Candlelight Dance Club and the Lalumiere Yacht Club.

He was also a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church in Oconomowoc where his greeting and departure blessing was, "God Bless You."

Survivors are his wife, Karen; children, Lois (Gene Leidy), Robert, Sharon (Tom) Genetti, Jeff (Lisa Lindemann), Kristi (Craig) King, Mark Weigel and Brian (Jill) Weigel; grandchildren, Michael (Shawn), Sherry, Joey, Alex, Kristi, Jacqueline, Grace, Wyatt and Willem; great-grandchildren, Chelsea, Amber, Michael and Chloe; and a sister, Donna (Vincent) Ryan. Also surviving are other relatives and many friends.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Loretta; and brother, Raymond.
