She was born Wilma Runyon on Dec. 14, 1915, to Bruce and Mary Elizabeth Bair Runyon in Shelby County. On Sept. 3, 1939, she married William H. Bailey.
She is survived by a daughter, Martha Schneider and her husband, David, of Lebanon; a son, Bill Bailey and his wife, Nancy, of Lenexa, Kan.; five grandchildren, Sam Schneider and his wife, Lori, B.J. Bailey and his wife, Gina, Sarah Spurlock and her husband, Matt, Steven Schneider and Adam Bailey; two great-grandchildren, Katie Schneider and Will Bailey.
Wilma H. Bailey was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers and one sister.
She worked in civil service at Fort Leonard Wood, and she was a member of St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church.
Funeral services for Wilma H. Bailey will be held at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Lebanon at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2008, with Monsignor Mike Swalina officiating.
Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Shadel's Colonial Chapel.
Visitation is scheduled for 7-8 p.m. Tuesday at Shadel's Colonial Chapel in Lebanon.
