MINNIE IVAJEAN ACUFF, age 85, of Jefferson City, TN went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 10, 2012. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother with a heart full of love.
Preceded in death by husband, William Carroll Acuff; parents, Thomas and Mattie Jane Cutshall Russell; brothers and sisters, Walker, Crayton, Kate, Kenneth, Lucy and Bonnie.
She is survived by daughters, Linda Williams and Earlene Layman; son-in-law, Clark Layman; grandsons, Chad and Becky Morgan, Paul Layman, Shawn and Cassie Rupert, Shannon Acuff, Shane and Crystal Acuff, Brent Acuff and Jessica Summey, and Brian Williams; great-grandchildren, Makenna Morgan; step-great-grandchildren, Ethan and Hannah, Gracie and Hunter Rupert, David and Brooke Acuff; and a large extended family. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 14, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. Timmy Farrow and Rev. J. C. Morgan officiating. Family and friends will gather at 10:00 a.m. Friday morning at Farrar Funeral Home to proceed to Mill Springs Baptist Church Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service, with grandsons as pallbearers.
