Canton, IL - Bonita J. Coffey 77, of 492 W. Myrtle St. died at 9:15 p.m. Sunday April 5, 2009 at Graham Hospital in Canton.

She was born on November 8, 1931 in Industry, Ill., to Earl and Louise (Howard) Rutledge. She married Samuel E. "Dusty" Coffey on September 30, 1950 in Pontiac, Ill., he preceded her in death on March 5, 2006.

Survivors include two sons Samuel L. (Sherry) Coffey of Canton, Michael D. (Keena) Coffey of Canton, one daughter Diana L. (Rod) Hickman of Canton, one sister Linda (Allen) Lightle of Mapleton, Ill., and five grandchildren Samantha Preston, Cinnamon Coffey, Shane Coffey, Kandace Coffey, and Jenny Hickman.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one brother Earl Rutledge.

Bonita was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed crosswords, crafting, and the Chicago Bears.

Cremation rites have been accorded and burial of cremains will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown.
