GULFPORT ~ Mrs. Margaret Sabol Miketinas, 91, of Gulfport, died Tuesday, March 17, 1998, in Bay St. Louis, MS.
Mrs. Miketinas was born in Plymouth, PA, and had been a resident of Gulfport for thirty-three years. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church, Altar society, Legion of Mary Padre Pio, and Young at Heart.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Nicholas Miketinas; and two sons, James J. Miketinas Sr., and Robert Miketinas.
Survivors include a sister, Helen Sabol Tondrick of Plymouth, PA; six grandchildren, Cecile Miketinas of Gulfport, Elissa Walsh of Portland, Oregon, John N. Miketinas of Lynnwood, WA, James J. ''Skip'' Miketinas and Eugene J. Miketinas, both of Gulfport, and Robert ''Bobby'' Miketinas of Memphis, TN; and twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday evening from 6 until 9 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Gulfport with the Rosary Service at 7:30 p.m. A procession will leave the funeral home Saturday morning at 10:45 a.m. going to St. John Catholic Church in Gulfport for a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Evergreen Gardens in Gulfport.
The family prefers memorials to St. John Catholic Church, P.O. Box 970, Gulfport, MS 39502.
