John Joseph Sabol, 92, of Rantoul passed away on Thursday evening (Jan. 3, 2013) at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.
He was born June 16, 1920 in Edwardsville, Pa. to John and Ann Bitzo Sabol. He was preceded in death by a brother, a sister, two wives, a daughter, Judith and a son, Joseph.
He is survived by three daughters, Joan (Brad) Becklund, Mary Ring and Clare Margaret (Bill) Johns and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
He served in the U.S. Air Force for 25 years.
