Maquoketa, Ia. Nov. 5 – Special: Mrs. Stephen Miller, 41, died at the city hospital last evening at 6 o’clock after an illness of two weeks.

She was born here, Celia Said, and had spent her entire life in the community, with the exception of about four years while her husband was employed as a carpenter by the Price Construction Company, whose work took the family to many different states. They returned here last spring.

She is survived by her husband and seven children, Florence in Chicago, Edith, Helen, Stephen, Anna, Mary and John and Joe, the last two twins, three years old. There are also two brothers, Walter Said, Maquoketa, Eli Said, of California; and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Vaughn of Minnesota and Mrs. Florence Babbitt of Washington State. Walter said was taken to Iowa City today to enter the University hospital, where he is expected to submit to an operation shortly. He has been ill for the last week.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow at East Iron Hill Church, the Rev. John Heide officiating. A prayer service will be held at 1 o’clock.
