Jeanette S. Fox, 83, of Luray, died Monday, Aug. 1, 2011, at Sunnyside Nursing Home in Harrisonburg.
Mrs. Fox was born Sept. 9, 1927, in Luray, and was the daughter of the late Joseph Said and Lucille Angie (Miller) Said. She was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church. On Jan. 20, 1949, she married Luther Glenwood Fox, who preceded her in death Aug. 29, 2002. Survivors include a daughter, Glennette F. Carter of New Market; two granddaughters, Erin Fadeley of Broadway and Hayley Carter of Harrisonburg; and three great- granddaughters, Fadeley Taylor of Broadway and Faith Kile and Sadey Kile of Harrisonburg.
The Rev. Paul O'Gorek will conduct a graveside service 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2011, at Beahm's Chapel Cemetery in Luray. Friends may call at the home of Glennette Carter, 9892 Woodbine Way in New Market. Memorial contributions may be made to Namaste Care Room-Pannill Health Care Center, 3935 Sunnyside Drive, Harrisonburg, VA 22801. Arrangements are by Bradley Funeral Home in Luray.
