Mrs. Lewis A. Sanders, 53, 3705 W. Locust, Davenport, died Tuesday at Mercy hospital, Davenport.

Gertrude Fanny Watkins, was born Feb. 24, 1915 at Pleasant Valley and was a life
resident of Scott County. She married Richard Ca1e, Feb. 5, 1935, who preceded
her in death in 1960, and then married Lewis A. Sanders.

Survivors include her husband; one son, Richard D. Cale, Columbus Ind.; two
daughters, Mrs. Larry (Beverly) Witmer, Muscatine; and Mrs. Anthony (Jacquelyn)
Bradford, Tacoma, Wash.; four brothers and five sisters; three grandchildren; and her mother, Mrs. Thomas (Elsie) Watkins, Camanche, Iowa.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at the McGinnis Funeral Home,
Bettendorf. Burial will be at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
