The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at McConnell Funeral Home with Dr. Steven Screws officiating. Burial will be in the Athens City Cemetery.
Mrs. Clem was a native of Madison County, a member of the First United Methodist Church, had worked for the Huntsville City School System and was retired from TVA where she was an office manager.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin A. Clem.
Survivors include two sons, James E. Clem of Athens and Marvin A. Clem Jr. of Knoxville; her mother, Sarah E. Sanderson of Huntsville; two sisters, Carolyn Ann Purser and Elizabeth Gail Blackmon, both of Huntsville; and one granddaughter.
