MOTHER OF COUNTY FUEL ADMINISTRATOR DOES BIT

Among the nonagenarians of the country doing their bit is Mrs. Sarah J. Henshaw, ninety-four years old, of Carthage, Mo., mother of Charles B. Kelsey, Kent fuel administrator. The Carthage paper has the following to say about Mrs. Hensaw:

"At ninety-four years of age Mrs. Sarah J. Henshaw is just as busy with her knitting needles making articles for the soldiers as any of the younger generation of women. Mrs. Henshaw already has made five pairs of socks and three pairs of wristlets for the soldiers and now is at work on other articles. She probably is the oldest woman in Carthage who is doing her bit in this manner.

"Mrs. Henshaw is a remarkable woman in that she is not compelled to resort to glasses to carry on her work. Her eyesight is unusually good. She reads the papers from cover to cover each day and follows the war news with the greatest of interest. She makes her home with her daughter, Miss Alice Kelsey. Mrs. A.M. Sully, another daughter, resides west of Carthage."
