SOUTH HAVEN - Mae S. Barringer, 86, of South Haven died Friday, Aug. 18, 2000, at her home.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Filbrandt Family Funeral Home, South Haven. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Miracle Harvest Church with Pastor Anthony Kuenzili officiating.
Burial will follow in Chambers Cemetery, Geneva Township.

Mrs. Barringer was born Aug. 17, 1914, in South Haven. She married Clarence Glen Barringer. Mae worked for many years as housekeeper at Windcliff Resort, which is presently Consumers Power's South Haven Conference Center. She loved her horses and had run the Tippicanoe Ranch since 1946.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence; also a grandson, Jimmy Barringer, who died in 1980; a sister, Violet Bessemer; a brother, Don Sawyer; and a son-in-law, Ellis Schultz.
Surviving are two daughters, Ramona Schultz and Viola (Gary) Hill, both of South Haven; two sons, Clarence W. (Ann) Barringer of South Haven and Donald (Eleanor) Barringer of Grand Junction; 29 grandchildren; 63 great-grandchildren; and 25 great-great-grandchildren; and also a sister, Floris Harper of South Haven.
