SAWYER FUNERAL SET FOR MONDAY

Funeral services for Forrest A. Sawyer, seventy-nine-year-old pioneer of Reno, will be held at two o'clock Monday afternoon, probably under the direction of the lodge of Eagles, of which he was a member.

Sawyer was one of the pioneers who came to Nevada in the early days, sailing around the Horn when a boy of ten. Bodie and Aurora, boom towns of years ago, were his home at one time, and later he came to Reno and made his home here for many years.

Active in politics, he was one of the staunch workers of the Democratic party for many years, taking part in county and state conventions with great regularity. He was seventy-nine years old.

He leaves four children besides his widow. The children are Elwood Bone, Mildred and Frank Sawyer, and Mrs. C. A. Graham. Groesbeck & O'Brien are arranging the funeral services.
