Kathleen Virginia (Scannell) Driemeyer, age 82, of Highland, IL., died Wednesday, April 12, 2006, at Saint Joseph Hospital in Highland, IL.
She was born October 12, 1923, in Grand Rapids, MI., the daughter of Timothy and Ann (Calkins) Scannell.
On June 6, 1945, she married Orville C. Driemeyer (died 10/30/1961) , who passed away October 30, 1961.
Mrs. Driemeyer was born at Grand Rapids, Michigan, grew up there and graduated from Catholic Central High School in 1942. Following her marriage, she and her husband had lived in Grand Rapids; St. Louis, MO; eventually moving to Highland, IL in 1954. She had been employeed in the Dietary Department of St. Joseph Hospital in Highland for over 30 years, retiring in 1995. She enjoyed shopping. She was a member of Saint Paul Catholic Church.
