Mary Burns, age 92, beloved wife of sixty-five years of the late Thomas P. Burns, was reunited with Tom on December 10, 2016.
She was a devoted wife and mother of seven children: Kathy (Rich) Lee, Tom Jr. (Mary Ellen), Bob, Larry (Janet), Chuck (Sandi), John (Laurie), and Jim (Lisa).
Nothing gave Mary more joy than following the exploits of her eighteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband Tom, she was preceded in death by her brother Jim Scannell, parents Charles and Catherine Scannell, and granddaughter Kelly Ann Burns.
A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am on December 17 at Brophy College Preparatory Chapel, 4701 N. Central Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85012.
Mary will be laid to rest beside Tom at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
Arrangements are through the Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home 4800 East Indian School Road Phoenix, AZ, 85018.
