Eleanor Marie (Scannell) Corcoran of Reading, a business manager, died Friday at Kindred Hospital in Peabody. She was 77.
Born in Cambridge, she had lived in Somerville for 20 years, in Westboro for 17 years and in Reading for 18 years.
Mrs. Corcoran was a telephone company manager.
Wife of the late James J., Mrs. Corcoran is survived by a daughter, Karen M. Hussey of Saugus; a sister, Maureen A. McDonough of Melrose; two grandchildren, an aunt, a cousin and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at St. Clement's Church, Somerville.
Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
