Funeral services for Grace Bonawitz, 60,Schuylkill Haven, wife of Robert Bonawitz were conducted this morning in Pottsville with burial in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Pine Grove.
A former resident of Pine Grove she was a beauticia and past president of these Organizations: Pine Grove American Legion Auxillary, Pine Grove American VFW Auxillary, Pine Grove Business and Professional Women's Club, and the auxillary to the Tall Cedars of Lebanon Schuylkill Forest No. 50. She was also a past royal matron of Amaranth Circle, Pottsville, past worthy high priestess of the White Shrine of Pottsville, and a member of the Oriental Shrine, Reading.
Surviving are her husband, Robert, two daughers, Shirley, wife of Glen A Furman, Palmyra, and Michele wife of Richard L. Wetzel, Tremont, a brother Elmer G. Gardner, Reading and three grandchildren.
