Born in Grier City, she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Sadie (Augustine) Schaeffer.
Prior to retiring, she worked at Atlas Powder Co.
She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Church, Tamaqua.
Surviving is nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sisters, Josephine Hackett, Elizabeth Bankes, and Martha Reichelderfer, and a niece, Gail Baddick.
The Christ Funeral Home, Hometown, is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
