Ida M. Krell, 91, of Tamaqua, died Thursday in St. Luke's Miners Memorial geriatric center, Coaldale.
She was the widow of Charles Krell who died Nov. 22, 1979.
Born in Grier City, she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Sadie (Augustine) Schaeffer.
Prior to retiring, she worked at Atlas Powder Co.
She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Church, Tamaqua.
Surviving is nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sisters, Josephine Hackett, Elizabeth Bankes, and Martha Reichelderfer, and a niece, Gail Baddick.
