27 Dec 1963: Mrs. Elsie Beidler, 70, formerly of Wernersville RD 1, died Thursday in Wernersville State Hospital. Born in Cleona, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Mary Hoffa Schaeffer. Her first husband, John A. Strickler, died 45 years ago. Surviving are her second husband, John H. Beidler, Wernersville RD 1; six sons, Ray M. Strickler, Newmanstown; John Strickler, Womelsdorf; Leslie Strickler, New Tripoli RD; Paul Beidler, Sinking Spring; Richard and Clark Beidler, both of Wernersville RD, and Clifford Beidler, Bernville; six daughters, Mary, wife of Morris Quinter, Reading; Pruella, wife of Charles Behney, Womelsdorf; Evelyn, wife of Edward Johnson and Romona, wife of Lester Kauffman, both of Wernersville RD; Betty, wife of Charles Parsons, Sinking Spring and Janet, wife of Norman Zerbe, Robesonia RD 1.
