Regina P. Donovan of Kansas City, MO passed away December 26, 2010 at KU Medical Center. Visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00 am Friday, December 31st at Visitation Parish, 5141 Main St, Kansas City, MO 64112. Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation at 10:00 am. Private entombment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the Marist Missionary Sisters, 349 Grove St, Waltham, MA 02453-6018. Regina was born in Philadelphia, PA to George V. and Regina P. Scherf. She was preceded in death by her husband, John M. Donovan; four brothers, and a sister. Survivors include her children, Regina Friel and husband Jack, John Donovan and wife Debra, Sr. Georgeanne Marie Donovan, SMSM, Dr. Mary Donovan, Gerard Donovan and wife Sherry DeJanes Donovan, and Donna Donovan; 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
